The American Flag

It was Social Studies, and was time for the little one to learn about the flag, but couldn't seem to remember details. So off course, here come I come to the rescue.

What I love about this booklet is that every "tab" is a letter and it ends up spelling "flag. Each tab off course talks about a detail about the flag.

First, it talks about how the flag is a symbol of our country.

Second, it describes how the flag is the way it is. 

Third, it explains what the 13 stripes means.

Fourth, it explains what the stars means.

Its very simple and easy to understand. The little one remembered it right away. The 13 original colonies, on the other hand, is a different story. 😉😜
